Rain Barrel Purchasing and Pick-Up

Purchasing Information

• Coordinate with your vendor to determine how best to place orders for rain barrels. Some companies prefer individual customers to pre-order directly from them while another may request only one large bulk order.
• Arrange for an organizer to collect orders and payment information, if needed.

Pick-Up

• Schedule a date and location for barrel pick-up.
• Pick-ups may be scheduled at a local school or other municipal building, non-profit education center, etc.
• Staff your pick-up with knowledgeable volunteers. Volunteers can carry barrels to cars, answer questions, and demonstrate installation as needed.
• Provide written instructions for installation. Your vendor should have materials available.
