Public Engagement: Pawtuxet Depot Public Access Project

Date:

Location: William Hall Library Auditorium (1825 Broad St, Cranston)

You're Invited: Help Shape the Future of Pawtuxet Depot

Join the RI Department of Environmental Management (RIDEM) to learn about upcoming improvements to state-owned land along the Pawtuxet River, known locally as Pawtuxet Depot.

Once used by State Parks and impacted by the 2010 floods, the site is now managed by RIDEM’s Division of Fish & Wildlife. Plans are underway to restore 4.25 acres of native floodplain habitat and improve public access to the river.

Preliminary designs include:

  • A parking area
  • A small-craft launch
  • Accessible shoreline fishing

This session is your chance to meet the project team, review early concept plans, and share your input to help shape the site’s future.
